Macy 10: No Worries, Nothing But Pain

Macy strolled down the hall on Wednesday slowly; she had to look out for Macon since Derrick wasn’t walking her to this class. Of course, he’d appeared.

“Hi Macy.”

“Please, just please, leave me alone.” Macy begged.

“No can do. So what’s with you?”

“Nothing.” She tried to step around him, but he pushed her back, grabbing her arm. “Don’t touch me.”

Macon lost it and growled, “And who are you to tell me what I can and can’t do?! Huh?! You think you have some power over me because of Derrick?! Oh please.”

“You sound just like Shane!” Macy yelled and he pushed her down onto the path. “Macon…stop, don’t.” She gathered her books and stood up to face him. “Don’t be like Shane.”

“Well you just called me SHANE !”

“I…I know. It slipped out, you’re…” she paused, looking down, “you’re nothing like him.”

“That’s right. Smart girl, see you around.” he slammed into her shoulder before leaving. She winced and yet again people were causing her pain.
No worries, there is still Derrick.
