A bit of sillyness. Did the tree happen to have goats in it? I seem to remember that there’s a type of Morrocan goat that likes to hang out in trees.

Oh yes. Good work. Wonder what sort of curse the head has on it, that was the vibe I was getting.

A nice idea and telling, though the ending wound up a bit flat, like you’d run out of space for the more descriptive bits, which is understandable but made for an unbalanced little ficlet.

I think the curse would be bad karma, or something of that nature. Good story, I enjoyed it.
