Even without 1st aid training I would’ve known that this situation was in need of some serious CPR . “Actually, I am single.” Emily said.
“I am too.” I said, throwing a desperate look in Joe’s direction.
“So, Joe.” Ellen said. “Do you believe in love at first sight?”
“Yes.” Joe smiled. “And when I see that girl I’m going to feel like this-” Joe jumped up on the couch, Tom Cruise style and yelled. “Stop! In the name of love!”
The audience cheered and whistled. Joe returned to his normal position. “So have you met this special girl yet?” Ellen asked, glancing at me suggestively.
“I don’t know.” Joe answered.
Ellen decided that this wasn’t going anywhere. “So I heard that you guys performed a new song today.”
“Yes.” Nick said. “It’s called For A Reason. And speaking of that, Wes, Emily we have another surprise for you.”
“Are you ready?” Kevin asked us.
“I guess so.” Emily said beaming.
I just nodded.
“We’re gonna put For A Reason on our new record!” the boys exclaimed simultaneously.
