Greed of a Queen

Queen Crystabella admired the Baronesses fine Tea set,
“O this is simply divine.”

“Oh you must have it your majesty, I insist,” the Baroness of Likovia said, flattered that the Queen would gloat over any possession of hers.

The Queen had her attendants remove the tea set.
The next visit was to her cousin the Duchess of Easterville.
The Queen said to her cousin, ” O my what a lovely necklace you are wearing.”

“Thank you ever so much your majesty,” said her cousin.

“It would look lovely around my neck I am sure,” said the Queen.

“Why yes of course, your majesty. You must take it,” said the Duchess, unclasping the necklace and handing it to the Queen.

Queen Crystabella then paid a visit to the Countess of Corndovia.
The Queen was gaining quite the reputation for getting whatever she wanted, for no one would deny the Queen anything.
Upon leaving the Queen said, “Your husband the Count is a very handsome man.”

“Take him he is yours,” quickly replied the Countess.
The Count left with the entourage.
