When they reached it Sarah hoped out slamming the truck door shut behind her and running for the door. “Calm down you look desperate!â? Shane said walking slowly towards her pressing his thumb-print onto a scanner and then stepping through the door after her. Sarah faked a laugh, “you forget I am desperate.â? stopped and grabbed her shoulders forcing her to turn and face him, his voice was low and serious as he said, “yes it does if you want to be left on this case and not locked up in a room somewhere for protection. She stopped short just before the door to the rest of the building, her eyes clouding with thought. Finally she looked at him and spoke softly, “maybe your right…maybe I just need to slow down.â? With that she leaned over and kissed him lightly on the
lips and grabbed the handle of the door ready for their entrance.
