friends "forever"
it was early morning at the beach. as usual, me and haley were watching the sun rise while painting our toes.
there was a weird silence between us though, as if we were friends who haden’t seen eachother in a long time.
This was strange; i’m used to unending babble and today was out of the usual. Since Haley had become a little more… pouplar , we had been trying to expand our horisons to more people. Even though we were doing this, we still hung-out on a slightly regular baisis.
I had found my ‘asian sensaiton’ group. (even though i look barley like an asian) And she, the it crowd.
feeling the tension tighten as the sun rose, i had to spill it.
“haley, are you mad at me?”
she looked up in supprise, “no…”
“oh, ok”
“well, accutally, i kinda am.”
“why?” i asked, suddenly afraid
“well, i’m feeling left out. you’re hanging with those people and i’m not getting invited, and i’ve been sticking up for you soo much and what have you done for me?”
“Haley, you know what i’ve been going through”
