5667 – Henry returns to MIT , but has a second epiphany about the nature of The Pulse.

5698 – Henry re-maps The Pulse, and then shows his results to Aaron. They decide to recruit a team to build the machine described by The Pulse.

6050 – Henry and Aaron recruit Mandy Garcia (whom Henry has had a crush on since freshman year) to be their lead programmer on the project.

6151 – They attempt to recruit physics student, Samir Assad, but he declines and warns them that he will report them if they proceed with this dangerous project.

6653 – Aaron tries to push Henry and Mandy together as they begin construction. They quickly run into their first snag.

22038 – Aaron’s experience at building his own Wii gives him an idea for The Pulse machine project.
