Words Unspoken: Quiet Suffering
The girl felt a stab of pain. She brought the tips of her fingers to her mouth and touched blood. The girl loosened her teeth’s death-like grip upon her tongue. “Every time I (try to) speak to you, I live to regret it.â?, were the words the girl wanted to yell, to scream, to have tattooed on her body. The girl quietly walked out of the room. For now, her tongue would have to pay the price for the words left unspoken.
