Sleep
I didn’t even know what she meant.
Start over?
Before I could even ask a question, she had already shut me inside my room. It was pretty cozy, just a bunk bed and a chamber pot in another room. Without a second thought, I flopped onto the lower bunk, and slept for the first time in what seemed like years.
I dreamed of all the best things I haven’t thought about in the longest time. Then, all of the sudden, the memory of Adelio whacking my head with a shovel was ripped into my mind and dragged me out of my sleep with the sharp knocking on the door.
“Come in.” I said weakly.
“Get outta bed!” Colleen ordered. “You’re gonna miss breakfast!!”
