“I cannot express to you how much I really, really, really don’t want to be here” Shannon said as she sat down in the chair next to Adam. He smiled to himself as he looked her up and down, taking her in.
Her books had papers stuffed in them and falling out of them. Her hair was messy, clearly unbrushed, possibly unwashed. But she smelled delicious, like an alluring flower. Her t shirt was wrinkled and loose, but it came just short enough to let him see her hip bones peeking out from her low rise jeans, putting pressure on her lean, tan flesh.
“Couldn’t he have given us one freaking day off? Would it really have killed us? He is always talking about how we are ahead of his night class, why can’t we have a day off and then it would even out?” She looked into his eyes now. He looked back at hers for a moment, then he glanced down at her mouth, where her braces caught the light and gleamed at him.
If only he could figure out how old she was.
