Mr. Crawford Gets A Phone Call
Mr. Crawford sat at his desk. He glanced at the photo of his family taken while on vacation at the ocean. His two strapping young boys tanned, holding sand shovels and buckets, his wife leaning down to pull their three heads closer together for the shot. All grinning. It was the quiet moments like these when he thought, “What if it were me fighting for custody of my boys?”
That’s why he took this case. He knew the Turners were up against a tough, shrewd, and diabolical man. It baffled him as to why Trazelli would want to take back a child who had, so far, never been linked to him. No one would have found out she was his, ever! But once Trazelli want something, he gets it and he’s not used to being told no.
Now that the orphanage woman is missing and the detective man turns out to be fake, the validity of the adoption seems unsound. He felt uneasy.
The phone rang.
“Mr. Crawford? I’m Detective Walsh of the Pine Ridge City Police. I have some interesting developments that could close a certain custody case.”
