As Adam worked in his office, he felt unglued and distracted. All he could think about was Taylor, he thought about her all day long. He starts to notice that he can’t concentrate on his work. He does not have the mental focus to be productive by any means.

He phones Trump, and tells him that he needs some time off. At least, until he knows his wife is out of harms away. Trump, being the compassionate man, agrees and lets him have the rest of the week off plus next week, if he needs. He reminds Adam, that he is an asset to the firm, and he is work is appreciated and valued emmensely. Adam thanks him and ends the phone call.

He then calls Taylor and tells her that they are going on a little vacation.. His treat.. Perhaps the stress of moving here got to her and it was just too much. He knows he personally could use a break..

Adam tells her to pack her bags for the Hamptons.. they will leave before dusk.
