Breakfast
I got up and ran out of bed so fast it made my head spin. I ran past Colleen, forgetting I hadn’t the slightest idea where I was going.
“Food hall is a right, then your second right!” Coleen called behind me.
I shouted a response to her, but I barely knew what I said.
I made it to the lunch hall and waited in line for my food. I was getting a lot of odd looks from the thugs around me. I wondered why, but my thoughts were interrupted by the lunch server slapping a glob of food on my plate.
I sat down and dug into whatever it was I was eating. It was disgusting, but when you are as malnourished as myself, you’ll eat anything.
