Ficlets

I was brought against my will.

The sun set hours ago, but it was still light. The candle that I lit illuminated the shabby room, located on the east wing of the castle.

“So what crime brought you here?” A voice from the corner started.

“I have committed no crime” I replyed to my newly visible companion. He was a tall lean man, standing near the only window of our prison.

“Then why have you been brought here? I take it you did not come voluntary.”

“I cannot justify a fair reason as to why I was forced to come here, but my guess would be that I have offended the King.”
