It was their tenth anniversary. Josh was out on a business trip in Milan and said he wouldn’t be back for a week. Klaire showed up as a surprise so they could spend the weekend together and celebrate their tenth. But, to her surprise, he was in his bed, but he wasn’t the only one in it.

She walked up to him, she had gotten dressed up and pampered herself for their special night, and smacked him across the face. She looked at him and saw the mark her hand left on his right cheek. Her eyes started tearing up and then she started screaming while tears streamed down her face. Her former husband just stood there, listening. After Klaire was through screaming he said, “Whatever.” Then went back in bed with the bitchy blonde he had slept with.

As Klaire ran down the hallway and into the elevator, she started to calm down. Instead of the betrayal and sadness she felt, it soon turned into anger. From that moment on, she vowed to make his life as miserbal as possible.
