Staring into his bright blue eyes, I knew it wasn’t a mistake. He is so incredible, I just can’t believe it. To think, it only took 9 months to make him so perfect. But 9 months has been a long time for everyone to accept him as well.
“Now I don’t want you fooling around with this . . . boy of yours.â? My mother expressed to me while spitting tiny granules of fruit cake out of the sides of her mouth as she spoke.
“Mum, you trust me don’t you?â? I tried to persuade her.
“Of course I trust you, I just don’t trust him.â? She said, followed by a large gulp of tea. My mother was British and the only way she found fit to have a personal conversation with someone was to do it over tea and fruit cake, it usually worked though because she made her own fruit cake and just the taste of it would make someone want spill all of their deepest, darkest secrets.
“Wow! You’re really beautiful” My date, Luke stared back at me in amazement. I grabbed his arm and we headed for the car, on our way to the school dance.
