The sign they notice isn’t for thier exit, but rather for something else. This leaves them both a little dissapointed and confused. But they know that it shouldnt be too much longer. “Does it tell you what side of the road it will be on?” Martin asks. “ummm left I think.” Was Danielles reply. “Ok good to know” Martin replies.

Martin’s eyes begin to feel tired. He seems to have some trouble keeping them focused. His eyes begin to wander out of focus. They are driving on a flat very straight road. No turns of any kind. Just endless road ahead of them.

Danielle notices that Martin is losing concentration. She can feel the car drift from side to side. She gently puts her hand on his shoulder. He reacts. “Hon are you getting sleepy.. maybe you should take a break from driving.” She said softly. “Mm-hmm” He said in a sleepy voice. “Oh my god! Martin! watch out!!” Danielle exclaims as shes looking ahead. Martin is slow to respond. His eyes have been unfocused for so long..it takes him a minute.
