Without warning, each gaurd stepped forward, guns cocked, and ushered us into a small crowd in the middle of the room. the doors blew open as metalic clmoping filled the room. Steel toed combat boots. i knew the sound because my other brother, the one older then Finn, Aidan, loved steel toed combat boots. but he was off at college, studying away at BC. actually, i hadnt seen him in over a year.
who ever it was that was walking into the room, i couldnt see, because suddenly a cloak of darkness surrounded us as the lights were turned off. the inital panicky shuffling died down as the foot steps continued.
“Hello.” Said a deep, warm voice that sounded like a dad on christmas, full o fmerry cheer from esponging the liqur cabinet. “I bet your all wondering why your here, and who i am. but dont worry, youll get your answers in no time at all, i promise you. for now the most important thing to know is that if you resist us, we will kill you in painfully.” He said, and suddenly the lights came on.
