Nice
Me: Um.
Mike: She says yes to me.
He grabbed my arm a little roughly and started away. But Kahn wasn’t having that, he followed in after.
Me: Guys, this isn’t neccessarily. I hate water.
Kahn: Why?
Mike: Yeah why?
Me: Well, when I was little…no. This is a stupid story, I’m not explaining it.
Mike: Please. For me.
SO not fair; he pulled that “for me” crap.
Me: No, just fish and I’ll be on the beach.
I tugged out of Mike’s grasp and headed up to the sand. The one thing I was completely aware of was that they were both checking me out from behind. I turned suddenly and snapped at them.
Me: Stop staring; you’re like animals.
Mike looked shocked, he took everything to heart, but Kahn just laughed.
Mike: Demi…
Me: No, forget it.
And I continued up the beach, leaving him stunned. That wasn’t really right, he was a lot better than Kahn, but I was annoyed. Once they came back though, the emotions disappeared because of Mike’s grin on his five fish and Kahn’s two.
Nice.
