Macy 26: Leave When He's There
“God, I hate him.” Macy snapped once Macon disappeared.
Derrick whispered, “Macy we should go.”
“Why? So he won’t come back? Oh come on, Derrick.”
“No, we just should go. Now.” Derrick eyed Shane’s form in the trees, away from Macy’s view.
“No. Tell me why.”
“Macy.” Derrick hissed, “Let’s go. NOW !” He didn’t want her to see Shane.
Macy whispered so quietly he had to lean in, “You sound just like Shane.”
Derrick felt guilty and went to put his arms around her. “Macy, I’m-”
“Leaving.” She didn’t give him a chance to reach her, instead just headed up the hill. Once she got to the top, she saw Shane. “Oh my god!” And she ran, leaving Derrick.
Shane stepped out of the trees after Macy left. “So, this is where she always is.” he said.
“I going.” Derrick stuttered.
“Wait let’s talk.”
“No thanks dude.”
“I want her back.”
“No.”
“What?” Shane asked.
“I said no. You’ll never get near her; you’ll never touch her again. Ya got me?” Derrick hissed between clenched teeth.
