Glowing
The girl’s entire face flushed a light pink.
“Uh, yeah, sure.” She said, making an attempt at a smile.
Anthony grinned, his first in what seemed like a lifetime.
“I’m Anthony.” He introduced, sticking out a waterfall-palmed hand.
She shook it. “My name’s Natalie.”
“Well, I’ll write down my number and fell free to call me in a little bit or, uh, whenever.” Anthony struggled.
The cute pizza girl smiled, wave, and was gone in an instant. Anthony smiled to himself.
I’m dating the cute pizza girl. He thought.
Right then, at that thought, the paint re-secured to the wall, the computer screen stopped flickering, and the room seemed to glow.
