What a beautiful little picture. I love the juxtaposition of the man’s disdain for, and captivation over, the girl. Does he hate her? Does he pity her? Does he see in her his only equal in a roomful of stuffy corsets? Ahh, so many questions. Well done. LoA
I think the last two lines really tie together the story. He wants to make her feel better, make himself feel better. Very nice story, one of my favorites in a while. LoA
crafted very thoughtfully. I enjoyed reading this story, it makes the reader feel a certain way, vivid emotions coursing in this one. Personally I pittied them both but by the end I felt my anxiety for them dissolve a bit. The soul blending in the wall line is fantastic.
