Jen walked up the steps to the front door. The others behind her. She stuck the key inside the lock.. The massive door made a loud ‘click’ sound, as the door was being unlocked.

The two of them follow her into the house. Once they are all inside, they realize why they left. It was that thick heavy presence in the air.

Kenny noticed how dark the house always was. It was early afternoon, but this home was still very dark. He looked for the nearest window. Once he located it, he separated the window treatments. He pulled up the shade as well. Then he opened the window.

Jen noticed his contribution to the room, That might work. She said to him. This place is just really old and dusty. A few more days of us cleaning up the house, and getting rid of the dust, it might seem normal again.

Eric looked at Jen. I don’t think it every was normal to begin with. It just has this feel, like something wasn’t right.
I will go look for a journal.. It will provide us some answers, or at least give us insight.
