I like the ending and the story brings up an interesting question in the ethics of time travel. Is it okay to kill someone for something they haven’t done yet? What would the world look like now if a time traveler had taken, say Hitler out? Very intriguing story line.
It’s definitely a very interesting discussion. There’s a Stephen Fry book called ‘Making History’ where the character gets the opportunity to prevent Hitler being born, it’s a bloody good read. It merges all my loves, Stephen Fry, alternate history and time travel. I think Minority report gets into it a bit as well, can you really arrest people for something they might do.
I’ll have to check that book out and The Time Traveler’s Wife is an awesome book as well, one of my favorites. (I just noticed Ana Cristina mentioned it in her commentary on the prequel). And I think I failed to mention that this is also dying for a sequel.
The good old moral question with time travel. I remember how Genesis of the Daleks has a good take on the moral question. I’m very curious to see how this series turns out.
