I really like this ficlet. The urge for escape and conversation on what if the world only appeared to be a certain way, but was really aberrant sort of reminded me of The Matrix. I could see sequels to this story going in several directions.

I felt inspired and sequeled your story (hope you don’t mind). If you had a different direction you were taking this, that’s fine. I just felt compelled to join in the fun.

Very thought provoking and highly inspirational. This also has a great balance between cynical and optimistic viewpoints that goes wonderfully with the pic that sparked it.

Of chorse the world isn’t what we want it to be. That is what makes it great. If there wasn’t any bad stuff then how could be learn anything? Does that make sense?
