I had already fallen asleep when he came in from work.Lately he had been falling asleep in his chair watching tv.Tonite he came in like always, ate the food I had made for the nite and headed to the bathroom to get his shower.An hour later he sacred me when he came and got in bed, I started to relax when I remember he was home from work.Once in the bed he began to move closer to me.My back was to his side of the bed; he moved closer to me and put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him. “Babe I’m really tired tonite.”
“I’m not here for that; I just came to hold you in my arms tonite.Those nites that I fell asleep out on the chair have been the worst nites of sleep that I have ever had.I’ve missed you being right next to me and I just wanted to hold you tonite.”
I moved closer to him getting more comfortable and relaxed.Remembering the way his arms feel around me, I began to drift back to sleep.He kissed me on my head, “I love you,” he whispered in my ear and feel asleep holding on to me all nite long.
