Devious, and I really liked the reminder of how doofy he had been…I mean, waiting 12 hours for girl to show up? Funny how it kind of takes the wind out of his sails for a sec.

I’ve been gone all day, so I’m just discovering this. Brilliant. This is revenge, pure and simple. Great line. And I love the getting back at all the girls who broke our hearts through this act of revenge!

Wait, I’m confused. I thought that the narrator was female and Tom was her friend, and she wanted to get back at Mendez (who I also though was male) who was her ex, and so in order to do that she wanted Tom to steal Jodi from Mendez.. oh, w/e. It’s a great story either way. Good job on it. I may write a sequel to this one myself.

Aditi, the narrator is a male named Jordan who wants to get back at Mendez and Jodi because they’ve been playing mind games with him.

This is one of the first points where authors playfully poked fun at certain details in each other’s contributions to the series. And I think it made for a whole lot ‘a fun. (i.e. making fun of the whole waiting for the girl 12 hours thing).
