I still don’t have much sympathy for him. hmm, nope, still none, even after reading it through a second time. I do wonder what his last thoughts would have been. But I don’t think I really want to know… :)
It’s interesting, while reading it, one is torn to feel sympathy for this man, but knowing the context behind the story, and the history that drives it, I have to agree with Mistress Elsha that no, I still don’t have much sympathy for him. However – had I been reading this piece, not knowing whom it was based on, I think I might have maybe felt more sympathetic. Either way, both pieces are very well written. LoA
Funny, I finished with this and I felt so smart like, “I’m going to write about how this was Hitler…” and then I read the comments. Dream crushed. lol. Sad, actually, that Hitler is such a covered topic. I wish infamy was dead, for real. What a disgusting totalitarian.
I actually haven’t read the other piece (sorry; will do so soon), so I just thought this was about some twisted poor sad sack. Turns it out it was! . The grammar needs work, especially the shifting verb tenses. . LoA
