I’m liking these characters and rooting for Margot all the way. My favorite line was “with all her drunken might.” Simply awesome.

Oh, just noticed, the word “too” (right before biased) is misspelled in your last line.

Nice job making us really feel for this guy. He’s in quite a situation, and now he has to figure some way to salvage what’s left of his pride to come out and face this mysterious woman.
