“A… friend?” I replied in a confused voice.
“Yes… a friend.” he replies. He helps me up. “You need to decide right now. Either chase after her for your whole life and get nothing in return.” He reaches over to the left and a road appears. “Or forget her and start a new life.” Reaches over to the right and another road appears.
I looked over at both the roads and said, “How did you…” I looked back at him and he was gone. I looked at both roads and started to think.
If I forget about her… will she be happier?
I looked over to my left (the man’s right). I got a feeling there was something at the end of the road if I went through it. Same goes for the other, but I knew what was at the end of it.
It’s a new beginning... I thought.
I took a few steps toward the left and started to hear a voice in my head.
Don’t do it! the voice said.
Who is that? I thought.
Don’t give up! There is still hope! the voice said.
A mysterious man appeared and said, “Don’t give up on her!!”
