Pat whispered the three most valuable things in Laura’s ear. Pat was smiling and knew what he had done. He liked that feeling.
Laura was excited about what he told her because she defined the things that were said wrong.
Laura was smiling and said excitedly, “Go tell Julia.”
Pat laughed at how gullible Laura was.
“Sure.”
Pat didn’t mind after all because the more people he deathwished – he thought – the better.
