Jonas Part 22: Broken Bones or Broken Hearts

None of us could really sleep that night, and Amanda was texting Nick J (who was in the next room) until 5 a.m. At 12:30 p.m. the next day, we all piled into the car with Mo next to Nick J. Mo hadn’t left his side since the text message yesterday. The driver dropped us (Amanda, me, Blair, and Jorge; the other bodyguard) off in Central Park. All the girls were shivering, whether it was the cold or the fear, none of us really knew. About two minutes later, at exactly 1:00, Charlie stepped out from behind a tall, thick tree. His skin was sparkling in the early afternoon sun, his green eyes glinting with mischief. “Hello, ladies, sir. How are we today?” He said, and artificially sweet smile spreading across his face.
“Charlie, please don’t do anything to him. I love him. Please.” begged Amanda, in a cracking voice. We could tell she was about to cry.
“I’m not going to do anything to him exactly.. I am just going to break his heart.” He cackled. Amanda was confused and scared.
