“So I had this dream the other day…” I said and stopped.
“And in this dream?” Lauren said in a confused voice.
“I had a dream about…” before I could say, I saw Emily in the background, hiding behind a bush in the middle of the mall. I’ve always wondered why they had bushes inside the mall.
“What’s wrong?” Lauren said and looked back and Emily hid before she could see her. Lauren looked back at me and I said, “Nothing. I just thought I saw something. But anyways.”
I took a deep breath and paused for a sec. All Lauren did was stare at me in confusion. It kind put more pressure on me.
“In the dream… I saw you and I were kissing and…” I stopped, thinking how to word it and made hang gestures like I was trying to say something. She took her hands and held my hands down.
“You are starting to like me, aren’t you?” Lauren said with a smile. Her cheeks started to turn a little red from being shy. She noticed she was holding my hand and took them away.
It was silent as we looked at each other in the eyes.
