Just A Little Kissing
She stopped speaking, looking at me with an odd expression. I leaned over the seat, gently pressing my lips against hers. Me: Do you not trust me?
Her: I…
I kissed her cheek gently, enjoying the feeling as she let out a ragged breath. I could picture her face as she tried to keep her head clear.
Me: Do you?
I kissed her lips again, feeling her melt against me.
Her (whispering): Yes.
She put her head against my shoulder; I pressed my lips against her neck, a spasm of adrenaline pulsing through my veins. She lifted her head, staring searchingly into my eyes. I wondered what she was looking for.
Her: Drew… I think… I think I should show you something. Something important.
Me: You should show me?
She nodded. Her (thoughtfully): Yes, it’s time I’ve shown someone. And… It’s important that you know… before you get too involved with me.
I frowned. Me: Nothing could make me want to be with you any less.
She smiled slowly, tentatively. Her: Yes… I’m beginning to believe that.
