“So what are you doing?” Lauren asked.
“Nothing, just bored.” I replied.
We both paused for a sec and Lauren broke the silent.
“Hey, I think I’m going to head to bed.”
“Alright.” I said and paused for a sec. “Hey… is there any chance, that you know of a place for me to stay for the night?”
“W-Why?” Lauren asked with a worried voice.
“Well… I kind of ran away from home.”
“You what?!?” Lauren said in a terrified voice. “Are you Ok?! Where are you? I’m coming to you!!”
“That’s another problem. I don’t know where I am.”
“Tell me what’s around you.” I can tell she was getting really worried.
“Don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine. I can see a park nearby, I’ll just stay there.”
“I think I might know where you are… but I-I’m not sure… Please stay safe while I’m come to get you,” she said in a shaky voice.
Before I got to say anything, she hung up the phone.
I took a deep breath and sighed. I walked toward the park and sat down at a bench. After a few minutes, I laid down, almost falling asleep.
