Most of us had known each other for many years… we helped each other out, and grew up with each other’s influence. Change occured, but our trust in one another remained in contact, and allowed itself to build over time. Through good and through bad, we stayed together. Some of us dated, even fell in love, and left each other with broken hearts.
Yet, we remained deeply bonded with each other, a couple even abandoned their homes to live with one of their trustworthy friends. We were a family, and remain so to this day. However, the strength of this deep relationship was tested many times. These tests strengthened us in the end… but one test above them all was almost enough to destroy this bond.. this seemingly unbreakable link between us.. strength, leadership, morality and courage… all tested at once, and almost toppled our friendship to the ground.
