To Chase What Was Left In The Past
I had bin standing next to a dumpster behind the local hotel. Waiting on a man with what to believe is important answers.
Minutes where becoming hours as the night drove by! The man never showed, I was left thinking if it was some damn joke I never got.
Upon my entry into my car I had a white envelope hanging off my window wipers. Upon the search I did not see any names or anything to help me to clue in who it was from.
I ripped it open to a case file. I knew the numbers but I didn’t know why he was pointing me to that direction.
I got back to my office a little after two in the morning. It had started to rain again. I have not once seen this city have a dry night, always raining.
I had spent that night looking at the case file and box that were spread across my desk. Something inside of me was telling me to turn around and walk away.
But i couldn’t dare to walk away not now, am already too deep inside something.
