Möbius Strip: Perfect Plaything

“Um God” she said, head down mindlessly kicking the skull at her feet.

“Yes child?” the quasi-deity replied distantly, as it continued to scan the ruins before it.

“So, are you a REAL God?” Now looking up, squinting to perceive the form of the entity before her.

Somehow this question seemed to intrigue it, amuse it. It focused a larger portion of it’s vastness to this place, this point in space and time, becoming more solid, more real.

“We created this universe, set events in motion. By any definition, are we not God?”

“Yeah but…” she started to say as it’s mind drifted to an ancient quote from some long past predecessor it’s own kind. ”...as if magic” it said, taking her face in it’s hand “You see beyond the magic, don’t you? That’s why we like you.”

“Who said anything about magic?” she questioned “You still haven’t answered me.”

With that, now shifted to a decidedly male form, the entity simply smiled saying “Shall we continue on?”
