20/20
When I spent the night at her house for the first time, I was treated to an alternate version of Kim that I had not been privy to before. Odd to think that there are simple things about her that I didn’t know, but there we were and there they are. For starters, her green eyes are not as green as I had once thought. She wears contacts that make them darker, greener, brighter.
She was still gorgeous in glasses, but I teased her about them for a bit anyway until it appeared, for a brief moment, that I was hurting her feelings. I stopped then, not wanting to ruin this evening, our first night together.
“You might need glasses one day,” she teased, afterwards, curled up in bed beside me.
“Nope,” I bragged. “My vision’s perfect.”
“Really?” she said.
I assured her it was true.
“If you can clearly see everything put in front of you,” she inquired, “then why do you make so many bad decisions?”
