Jared scans the road for any police. Paranoid thoughts enter his mind, as he leaves the shopping center. “I can’t believe you shot the guard!” He said angrily to Britney.

Britney stares out the window and watches the ground whiz by. “I thought I had to create a distraction.. so less attention would be on you. So then if there were cops called, they wouldn’t have a reliable eye wittness. It was for your protection, if you can’t see that, then you are a fool!” She paused angrily.

Jared took her hand in his, “I know babe, I’m just scared.. What if he dies? Then we will be wanted for murder! that alone will complicate things.”

“I have an idea, we get on the interstate and drive out of state, like right away. That way nobody can find us. We have enough money to get by now. We need to get away from here before people start talking, ya know”” Britney concluded.

“That’s a smart move babe, I think your on to something, but first we need to get high” Jared replied.
