Bit of a reversal. So interesting all the different points of view and directions taken with this little protagonist.

There wasn’t too much intensity, wouldn’t you agree? The reader needs a release now and again to make it all seem more real. This ficlet is an attempt to set up a human to human interaction between Tara Fairbanks and the man – Benjamin Emmons.

I meant to say there “WAS too much intensity above” by the way…..

I love this. You know, when I wrote the prequel to this I didn’t see the old man dying when the gun went off. This is what I love about ficlets – every story has multiple possibilities, different doorways that can be opened.
