Yesterday I got my pic taken for being voted “most likely to become a bestselling authorâ€?. The others were there too; “most likely to become presidentâ€?, “most likely to cure cancerâ€?. It makes me wonder how hard they think it is to become an author. It’s definitely not as statistically improbable as becoming president or curing cancer.
We all had to pose. They were wearing full lab clothes, or a dress suit. All I had was my notepad. They dress up, but none of them ever expect to come close to it. I know from watching them. To them it’s like dreaming of becoming a time traveler. I’m the only one who can actually fulfill my dream.
