No Clone Left Behind: the saga of the 99th Sheepborn squadren
Clone 19 ducked as a parakeet flew close over his head. In fact, the whole 99th sheepborn squadren ducked. They had just come out of their barracks in the Tower Of London, and were not quite prepared. 19 said, in the Ficonian battle language (hand signals) “Go-go-go-go-go!” And they went, leaping up onto their sheep as the sheep took off. 19’s devilishly good Ficonian communication device (D.G.F.C.D) crackled, then went into focus onto General OMG . “Today’s mission is to knock off the trees. The 42nd volunteer battalion can’t hold them off much longer. The 42nd was trying to capture the Roost, Again!!!, so they are right there. They even managed to get into the Roost while the parakeets were having tea. Oh, and watch out for the smurfs. They’re nasty pieces of work. End transmission.” As the general’s image flickered off the screen, 19 was already urging his sheep forward, to the Roost.
