Katrina(end)

“We’ll get right on that.” He picked up the phone again and started talking extremely fast. She heard something out of the other end of it and started crying, overwhelmed with gratitude.

“Thank you! So much!” she yelled, unable to control her voice.

“No problem, stay here ‘til we bring him in.”

“Gladly,” she replied. “But… I need to stay hidden. If he knows I turned him in, he’ll be so mad! He’ll…”

“Relax,” he said. “He’ll be in another building.” Katrina sighed quietly and shook her head.

“I feel like a stupid criminal…” she muttered. It was against the law for fairies to be in the city during the daytime. She flew into the rafters, where it was dark, and she gave off a faint teal glow. She heard a yell outside. It was him. He was being taken to jail! She was free now. She was safe. She just needed to go home, and everything would be perfect.
