and here comes the but…

Honestly, this story left me wanting more, but fell short in making me care to find out. Daniel’s outloud speech about skin color made me feel like a child who’s offered candy, then suddenly having it taken away and told he could have it. It was tantalizing enought to leave me feeling frustrated.

Very contemplative. the racial element and the drinking, the kinds of things a drunk might think about.
