Style inspired, by Emily Dickinson’s Poem:

I never saw a moor,
I never saw the sea,
Yet know I how the Heather looks,
And what a billow be.

I never spoke with god,
Nor visited in heaven,
Yet certain I am of the spot,
As if the checks were given.

Nice to see something different from you! I like it! I think of pirates, yet there is nothing really pirate-y (piratical) about this.

This is actually my second crack at this one. I wrote a version of this a while back.. but there was something wrong with it – its rhythm was all wrong.
I think i managed to fix what i didn’t like about it.
