Surprisingly, no scream escaped her lips. Instead, she thought of all those she was letting down. Her mother and father would not understand. She was also setting a bad example for her little sister, too.
I’m sorry!, her mind screamed.
How could I think this was worth it? But it must be. I hope something good happens despite this awful ending.
In those final falling moments, a smile spread across her face. Too bad her family would never know that she had made peace with herself and the world right before she hit the ground.
