Scarlett stared at the sky. Dark. No stars were out yet, but it was pitch black, not to mention scary. “Scarlett, come inside, time to eat!” called Arrietta, Scarlett’s older sister. “Stuffing and chicken, then you can go trick-or-treat.” said Mrs. Holden.

As Scarlett ran around, going to people’s houses, she ran down one way, she noticed, Arrietta was missing. “ARRIETTA!” she screamed. She pulled at hem of her costume. She ran to Miss Lark, Kelly’s mom, and told her that Arrietta was missing. “Well, it is past midnight, and the trailer park’s best worker was dressed as Jason, and, what scared Scarlett the most was what Miss Lark said as her conclusion. “But, I don’t know, Scar, he was drunk last time I saw him, and that chainsaw had a blade.”
Scarlett could not find Arrietta, but she did find a trace of blood.
