I thought this vacation would make everything between us better. I thought that we would put all of it behind us. The lies. The hurt. All of it. But I was wrong. I should have known that this wouldn’t work. Things like this never work. I really did love her. No I still do. It’s just that…It’s hard…hard to forgive. Damned-near, if not, impossible to forget.
