Alli woke up, feeling disoriented. Where was she? But then she saw the suitcases piled around her, and all the bottles of alcohol.

She was on tour, and it was the same as usual. The hours of partying last night had left her completely hungover and lost this morning.

It used to feel great. By now, she was kind of wondering what the point was. Especially now that they had lost their drummer…he definitely wouldn’t be back after the accident last night. But Marcus, their manager, said he knew a guy, and it wasn’t really her job to worry about it.

She got dressed and fixed herself up the best she could, and went to find the guys for sound check.
